There were 1,552 ninth grade students enrolled in Bossier Parish schools in the 2021-22 school year, 1.2% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Airline High School welcomed the most ninth grade students in the parish.

Within Bossier Parish schools, the most students were found in eighth grade classes, while 12th grade classes were the smallest.

Statewide, Bossier Parish ranked 11th highest in enrollment numbers. It was ranked 13th highest the year before.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
