Police Seek Suspect in East Egan Street Shooting

On June 27th, 2023, around 10:04 a.m. Shreveport Police Officers were called to respond to a shooting in the 200 block of East Egan Road. Arriving officers located a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the lower body. The Shreveport Fire Department transported the victim to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.

Investigators with the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes and Crime Scene Units responded to the scene to collect evidence. Shreveport Police Detectives’ initial investigation revealed that Keatre Daniels (12-10-92) was reportedly involved in a verbal altercation with the victim when she retrieved a firearm and fired shots.

Detectives with the Shreveport Police Department have obtained arrest warrants for Daniels for the offenses of second-degree Aggravated Battery, Illegal uses of a weapon, and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. We are asking the public for assistance in locating Daniels.
