Cost of college went up for all students at Remington College-Shreveport Campus

Tuition and fees rose 2.6 percent for 2018-19 at Remington College-Shreveport Campus, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Louisiana students paid $15,786 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $396 more than the $15,390 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 49 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 47 students received grants or scholarships totaling $245,351 and 42 students took out student loans totaling more than $341,223.

Including all undergraduates (301), 145 students used grants or scholarships totaling $651,450, and 119 students took out $799,956 in federal student loans.
