Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport enrolls 28 undergrads

At Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport, 68 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 89 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Shreveport enrolled 890 students in fall 2018, including 28 in undergraduate and 862 in graduate programs, data shows. 21.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (50 percent) and Black or African American (18 percent).
