There were 111 ninth grade students enrolled in Red River Parish schools in the 2021-22 school year, 23.3% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Red River High School welcomed the most ninth grade students in the parish.

Within Red River Parish schools, the most students were found in ninth grade classes, while third grade classes were the smallest.

Statewide, Red River Parish ranked seventh lowest in enrollment numbers. It was ranked sixth lowest the year before.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
