Detrevious Johnson
On June 27, 2023, around 12:10 p.m. Shreveport Police Community Response Units conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle in the 6600 block of Line. During the stop, officers contacted Detrevious Johnson (12-17-94) inside the vehicle and found he was in possession of a firearm and narcotics. The firearm was also found to be stolen.
Further investigation into the matter revealed that Johnson was prohibited from possessing a firearm due to being a convicted felon for prior felony offenses. Johnson was arrested on one count of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, one count of possession of Marijuana, and one count of illegal possession of a stolen firearm.
The firearm and narcotics were seized as evidence.
