Dondre Bivens
On June 18th, 2023, around 9:45 a.m. Shreveport Police Department Patrol officers were contacted in reference to a report of domestic trouble in the 1900 block of Patzman Street.
The responding officers determined that the victim had been involved in a domestic dispute when Dondre Bivens (7-27-94) struck the victim in the face with a handgun. The victim suffered injuries to the face but is expected to recover.
Further investigation led officers to the arrest of Bivens. Bivens refused to submit to a lawful arrest and was subsequently restrained. Bivens was arrested for one count of Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment, one count of Illegal Carrying of Weapons, one count of resisting an officer, and one count of Aggravated Battery.
