The Caddo Parish Commission will hold a Special Meeting to appoint an interim commissioner for Commission District 8 to fill the unexpired term of Mr. Jim Taliaferro, who will resign December 30th after being elected to the Shreveport City Council. The meeting will be held January 12th at 4:30pm in the Chamber on the 1st Floor of Government Plaza at 505 Travis Street, Shreveport, LA 71101.
Any citizen who is a registered voter of District 8 and wishes to be considered for the position of interim commissioner must prepare a resume and send electronically to jeverson@caddo.org or by mail to:
