"Friday Night Live" events to cater to Caddo Parish youth, parents

The  Caddo Parish District Attorney’s Office and the United States  Attorney’s Office will host “Friday Night Live,” youth empowerment  events for area Caddo Parish elementary/middle, high school students and  parents. These fun-filled, crime prevention events will be held on  Friday, July 22nd and Friday, August 26th from 6:00pm – 7:30pm at  Huntington High School (6801 Rasberry Lane). Both events are free and  open to the public.

The  purpose of Friday Night Live is to educate youth on how to remain safe,  make intelligent decisions, and give area Caddo Parish youth a platform  to discuss the social challenges they face daily as youth and teens.

Guest speakers include United States Attorney Brandon Brown (July 22nd)  with live entertainment from Mariah Hester and Jordan Hollins; and  Andrew Randall, Assistant Director of Juvenile Services (August 26).   Grab and go meals will be provided for all attendees by the Caddo  Parish Commission.
