Of the 446 people living in Edgefield in 2020, 53.6 percent (239) were women and 46.4 percent (207) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Shreveport Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 82. In the 65 and over age range, there were 20 females and 16 males.
