On Tuesday, April 8, former Parkway High School standout Drake Fontenot’s current college team, the Delta State Statesmen, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Arkansas–Monticello Boll Weevils.

The game took place at Harvey Stadium at Ferriss Field. This was their third matchup against the Boll Weevils this season.

The Statesmen’s next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 2 p.m. at Harvey Stadium at Ferriss Field against Trevecca Nazarene Trojans.
