Speaker Johnson invites Trump for joint address on March 4

Speaker Mike Johnson has extended an invitation to President Donald Trump to deliver a joint address to Congress on March 4, 2025. This will be President Trump's first such address in his second term.

In the letter, Speaker Johnson wrote, "America’s Golden Age has begun. Thanks to your strong leadership and bold action in the first days of your presidency, the United States is already experiencing a resurgence of patriotism, unity, and hope for the future."

Johnson emphasized the potential collaboration between President Trump's administration and the 119th Congress. He stated that this partnership could make the upcoming four years highly significant in American history.

The invitation is for President Trump to present his "America First vision" during a Joint Session of Congress at the U.S. House of Representatives chamber. Johnson concluded by expressing anticipation for President Trump's response.
