Both leaders expressed their commitment to advancing their agenda. "Leader Thune and I are ready to hit the ground running and put America first in the 119th Congress," said Speaker Johnson. He emphasized working with President Trump on several issues including securing borders, cutting taxes, reducing inflation, and restoring America's energy dominance.
