Census Bureau: 75.1% of people in Bossier Parish were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 128,508 citizens living in Bossier Parish in 2021, 75.1% were old enough to vote, equating to 96,495 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 47,312 were male, constituting 49%, and 49,183 were female, making up 51%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Bossier Parish during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 76.4%.
