There were 22,417 students enrolled in Bossier Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 51.5% of them were boys, and 48.5% were girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, representing 53.3% of the Bossier Parish School District total enrollment.

Bossier Parish School District covers approximately 34 schools within Bossier Parish, with its main office in Benton.

Among the 34 schools in Bossier Parish School District, Airline High School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,773 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021-22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
