The Shreveport Police Department is working to respond to dozens of trees down on the roadways and downed power lines. PLEASE stay away from all down power lines. If possible, we would like to encourage our citizens to stay off the roadways. We have numerous major intersections that are currently without traffic control devices. We ask that those driving do so safely and courteously.
Emergency workers are working diligently to restore order throughout our city. we would ask our community to be patient and help to look out for our fellow citizens. We will update the Shreveport Police Facebook page with updates involving public safety.
