Caddo Parks education coordinator receives prestigious national award | caddo Parish

Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Education Coordinator Stacy Gray is the recipient of the National Association for Interpretation's Master Front-Line Interpreter Award.

The National Association for Interpretation (NAI) is the national professional certification organization that provides standards and professional training for parks and recreation staff that offer programs at nature centers, zoos aquariums and historical sites.

Stacy is the first Interpreter from the state of Louisiana to win any national award from NAI. She joined the parish in 2012, and became education coordinator for parks and recreation in 2015. In addition to this role, she also is certified as an Certified Interpretive Guide.

The award was presented at the NAI National Conference in Cleveland, Ohio in December.
