Of the 3,137 people living in Blanchard in 2020, 47.3 percent (1,485) were women and 52.7 percent (1,652) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Shreveport Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 79. In the 65 and over age range, there were 294 females and 337 males.
