Census Bureau: More women than men in Bossier Parish in 2019

Of the 126,499 people living in Bossier Parish in 2019, 50.7 percent (64,102) were women and 49.3 percent (62,397) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Shreveport Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 38,837-to-38,665. In the 65 and over age range, there were 9,904 females and 7,572 males.
