The Setting the Standard Barbering and Natural Hair Academy enrolls 15 undergrads

At the Setting the Standard Barbering and Natural Hair Academy, 61 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 100 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The private for-profit school in Shreveport enrolled 15 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

75 percent of undergraduates are residents of Louisiana.

The undergraduate student body is comprised of students who identify as Black or African American (93 percent) and Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander (7 percent).
