60 percent of applicants to Centenary College of Louisiana were admitted for fall 2018

At Centenary College of Louisiana, 97 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 57 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Shreveport enrolled 585 students in fall 2018, including 552 in undergraduate and 33 in graduate programs, data shows. 2.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

51 percent of undergraduates are residents of Louisiana, and 48 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (64 percent) and Black or African American (14 percent).

The school admitted 60 percent of the 893 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 32 percent enrolled.
