On June 16, 2025, Speaker Johnson tweeted about welcoming Steve Doocy from Fox News to the Capitol. He mentioned giving Doocy a tour of some of his favorite places around the Capitol and encouraged followers to watch the coverage. “Last week, I welcomed @SteveDoocy with @Foxnews to the People’s House! Mike Johnson has been serving in Congress since replacing John Fleming in 2017. Prior to this role, he served in the Louisiana House of Representatives from 2015 to 2017. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1972, he now resides in Benton. Johnson is an alumnus of Louisiana State University where he completed his BA in 1995 and JD in 1998.
