Speaker Mike Johnson, U.S. Congressman representing Louisiana’s 4th district since 2017, published a series of posts on May 15, 2026, highlighting border policy achievements and honoring law enforcement officers.

In his first post at 17:10 UTC, Johnson stated, “Twelve straight months of ZERO releases at our border. This isn’t a coincidence— it’s a direct result of Republican policies under the leadership of @POTUS and Congressional Republicans. While Democrats blocked law enforcement paychecks for 76 days to reopen the border and https://t.co/19hHo4lkm3”.

Later that day at 18:04 UTC, Johnson paid tribute to a fallen officer: “In November, Vivian Police Officer Marc Brock was tragically killed in the line of duty. His name is now etched among the more than 24,000 fallen officers at the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, DC. We will never forget Officer Brock’s bravery or his dedication https://t.co/yFWBA2izce”.

At 19:04 UTC, he posted another message recognizing law enforcement service: “Thank you to the brave men and women who put their lives on the line to protect our country. We are grateful for all of the brave law enforcement officers who keep us safe each day. https://t.co/PGlDUTzPGF”.
