Speaker Mike Johnson of Louisiana has announced a diverse group of guests for President Donald Trump’s joint address to Congress. The invitees highlight various political issues and personal stories.

According to Blaze News, Johnson will host Olivia Hayes, whose husband was killed by an illegal immigrant in a drunk-driving accident. Johnson linked this tragedy to what he described as “former President Joe Biden’s disastrous open-border policy.”

The Daily Caller reported that Johnson aims to spotlight Republican achievements in reversing previous administration policies. Among his guests is Ben Dell, chairman of Commonwealth Liquified Natural Gas (LNG), who represents energy interests significant to Louisiana.

Johnson also invited Noa Argamani, noted the New York Post. Argamani survived 246 days in captivity by Hamas. Johnson expressed admiration for her resilience: “I am honored that Noa Argamani will be joining us at President Trump’s Joint Address to Congress.”

The Washington Times revealed that border czar Tom Homan will attend as a guest, highlighting Johnson’s support for the current administration’s border security measures. Johnson praised Homan as an “ardent supporter” of national border security.

Additionally, The Daily Wire hosts Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh will be present at the event. They were described by Johnson as “pillars of the conservative movement.”
