Speaker Johnson expressed support for President Trump’s proposed budget for the 2026 fiscal year. In a statement, Speaker Johnson highlighted the budget as a plan that aligns with the values of American citizens and focuses on strengthening the country’s financial standing.

The statement criticized previous spending habits under Democratic leadership, emphasizing the necessity for fiscal discipline. According to Speaker Johnson, the proposed budget outlines spending priorities intended to directly benefit the American public.
