Shreveport Police request public assistance to identify found child

Shreveport Police are seeking help from the public to identify a young child found late in the evening on March 6, 2026. Officers discovered the child around 10:00 PM in the 900 block of Caddo Street. So far, police have not been able to find the child’s parent or guardian.

Authorities are asking anyone who recognizes the child or has information about their family to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300.

“The safety and well-being of this child is our top priority, and we appreciate the public’s assistance in helping reunite the child with their family,” said officials from the department.

The police continue their efforts to ensure the child’s safety while searching for relatives.
