Records indicate the facility offered 180 available beds, which is 56 above the county average for the period. The average daily resident count at Pierremont was 117.2.
The CMS assigned Pierremont Healthcare Center an overall rating of 1 out of 5, placing it below Louisiana’s average nursing home rating of 2.5 at that time.
Highland Place Rehab and Nursing Center was the largest facility in the county, with 227 beds during the quarter, while The Guest House Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation took third with 177 beds.
By the end of the first quarter of 2026, Pierremont Healthcare Center had accumulated $431,489 across five fines and incurred five penalties.
Caddo County, Louisiana, hosted a total of 18 for-profit nursing homes during this period.
U.S. Census Bureau estimates indicate that the number of older Americans continues to rise while younger population groups are declining. But when you need that type of care, there are limited options.”
