On Sunday, March 9, former Benton High School standout Hudson Brignac’s current college team, the Northwestern State Demons, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Incarnate Word Cardinals.

The game took place at Brown–Stroud Field. This was their third matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Demons’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 6 p.m. at Brown–Stroud Field against Grambling State Tigers.
