Speaker Johnson issued a statement following the House’s approval of The One Big Beautiful Bill Act. The legislation now moves to the Senate for further deliberation.

“The media and the Democrats have consistently dismissed any possibility of House Republicans succeeding in our mission to enact President Trump’s America First agenda. Once again, they have been proven wrong,” said Speaker Johnson. He emphasized that the bill represents significant legislation aimed at reducing spending, lowering taxes permanently for families and job creators, securing borders, promoting American energy dominance, restoring peace through strength, and enhancing government efficiency for all Americans.

Johnson also criticized House Democrats for voting against the bill, stating it “clearly proves they want tax hikes on their constituents, open borders, and Medicaid for illegal immigrants.” He expressed anticipation for the Senate’s consideration of this legislation and readiness to advance it to the President’s desk.
