On Saturday, April 5, former Haughton High School standouts Austin Anderson and Colin Rains’ current college team, the Northwestern State Demons, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UTRGV Vaqueros.

The game took place at Brown–Stroud Field. This was their second matchup against the Vaqueros this season.

The Demons’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at Brown–Stroud Field against UTRGV Vaqueros.
