State Representative Danny McCormick has outlined his legislative priorities for the upcoming year in a series of posts on X, formerly known as Twitter. In his December 30, 2025 post, McCormick highlighted plans to focus on Second Amendment rights, energy policy, tax reform, parental rights, and political accountability.

On December 30, 2025, McCormick wrote: “I know this time of year is busy so I will keep this short. Next year we have a real opportunity to expand Second Amendment rights, protect oil and gas, eliminate burdensome taxes, expand parental rights, and hold corrupt politicians accountable.
