On Sunday, March 2, former C.e. Byrd High School standouts Brock Lambert and Jackson Walker’s current college team, the Houston Christian Huskies, won 9-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Incarnate Word Cardinals.

The game took place at Sullivan Field. This was their third matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Husky Field against McNeese State Cowboys.
