On Friday, March 21, former Benton High School standout Bryson Pierce’s current college team, the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Sam Houston Bearkats.

The game took place at Don Sanders Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bearkats this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at Don Sanders Stadium against Sam Houston Bearkats.
