Of all the students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 53.1% of them were boys, and 46.9% were girls.
Data also showed that white students made up 51.8% of the student body, the largest percentage in the parish, followed by 38.5% Black students, 4.5% Hispanic students and 0.5% Asian students.
North DeSoto Upper Elementary School had the highest enrolment among De Soto Parish’s schools in the 2023-24 school year, welcoming 807 students.
